What is OSCAR?

OSCAR is the Online System for Commentary and Response, a system provided by the office of Laurel Sovereign of Arms to manage the flow of name and armory submissions throughout the Known World. When a submission is made, the forms used, along with all documentation, are recorded in OSCAR. Heralds then discuss and verify the submission by communicating through OSCAR. Finally, OSCAR is used to write the Letter of Acceptances and Returns that the office of Laurel Sovereign publishes.

Using OSCAR for research (non-commenting)

You can read the public portions of the OSCAR archive without logging in. In particular, you can see a list of all the items that the Laurel office is working on, or use the search box on the left side of the page to find items in the archives.

Commenting on OSCAR

You must log in to OSCAR in order to read and comment on internal letters. Those interested should read the An Tir commenting policy.
